What if you want to chrome a bit of the bike, such as seat stays or lugs. Or maybe chrome the whole bike, and paint the bits you want coloured. Any thoughts?
But chrome or nickel plating is a different story. The research I have done suggests it's not cheap and not many chrome plating works can handle something the size of a bike frame.
It can be done but not cheap\.
