9 by my count [hang on, did I keep forgetting to count myself? All confuzzled now, bleh]. Good turnout, good route. Shame I couldn't end it in Freo with a nice big brekky. Maybe next time plan to catch the train home
We lost Chalky, DoubleGee and his mate [sorry forgot the name already] coming back along the river. Assume they headed off on a different route home. We hung around under the Narrows for awhile listening to a dude playing the bagpipes, sounded pretty cool with all the reverb. Not everyone agreed.
Good weather, good day out, good to put a few faces to names. Looking forward to the next one.
EDIT: Oh yeah, are we awarding KOM points for Devils Elbow? /me sniggers

Hi All ,
Thanks for the ride this morning , good turn out and good to put faces to names .
Nice ride , good coffee.
Thought we were going to get rained on riding back to Bassendean , but we were lucky .
The guy with the bag pipes was good , but what about the runner who was inspecting the wall !!!!!. Another 500m and he could have used a real tiolet ?
Look forward to the next one Andrew .

Welcome durx...
I couldnt meet the guys this morning as I had to be back home by 8.30.
There are a couple of rides coming up that may be of interest..."Golden Spokes" tomorrow fortnight (I am sure there is a thread under WA for this one) and the "Great Bike Ride" in November (there is a thread for this under WA) enjoy settling in..

Great ride. Great day.
Thanks to all for waiting for me and to Davclare for easing me back up to the pack on several occasions.
Sorry I missed you all at the end - missed the turn - although if there was a bagpipe farewell, then it may have been a blessing in disguise.
Next time I'll try harder to keep up and I'll also pump up my tires (yet another excuse that I've just thought up!)

Cheers for the ride guys. Lots of fun. Sorry if I may have coughed over you inadvertently
Figured you guys must have gone straight home or taken a slight detour. Perry and I went back along freeway South for a little bit to see if you guys were still about.
