I've recently started riding again after 1 year break. I used to do 1,500km a year or so.
Getting back on the bike my feet get really tired really quickly. Can't remember that this has ever been an issue for me so am a bit stumped . Should I keep training or try changing some things up? I.e. Shoes, seat, cleat positions?
Any ideas on what the most likely culprit could be?

My guess would be shoes a touch large or small followed by cleats too far forward. Hard to say though.

If you were happy with it before and nothign changed, I wouldn't try adjust anything.
If you are a toe dipper like me, this puts extra strain and is one of the first parts to feel tired after a break. Also ultra stiff carbon soles are a good idea.

Calvin, I use carbon stiff soles already.
I've moved my cleats back a tad and redid my saddle position from scratch. The biggest change was lowering my post, which reduced need for me to dip my toes as much.
My feet hardly got tired today, I think it did the trick.
