What if there was a place where it was more likely to find young people riding trikes than older people? What if they began learning to build their own trikes in grade school assembled teams and raced them as they grew older? What if these races were major events attended by thousands of spectators going crazy with excitement? How about I stop with the leading questions and tell you about Australian Pedal Prix! We have officials from the Pedal Prix organization on to share the story of this remarkable recumbent phenomenon taking place "Down Under" each year.

I am a team manager and mechanic for my girls school, Pedal Prix is awesome fun and the kids love it, however the days of kids building their own cars are well and truly gone, the last few years have seen an escalation in the vehicles being used, and now to be at the pointy end of the field you need to have essentially the same trike as the leading adult teams. Still good fun.
