There's also some info on the Cruzbike forum in their "Cruzbike at speed" sub forum.

Telling comments from Larry Oslund (one of the top CB riders): "My left had is still numb from gripping my handlebar so tightly" and "My arms where not used to steering & balancing, and the added strain of having to control the bike in the high winds was horrible on my arms. They were like Jelly"

Larry generally does very very well in these events, this year he DNF'd after 13 hours I think.
