Planning a ride to Foreshore Parks, any route suggestions from Tempe to Glebe? Ideal avoid Newtown area, too busy.

I would ride via Marrickville and Petersham, and then through the back of Leichardt and Annandale to Glebe. Most of it will be on roads, but at least it is a mixture of wide street and quiet streets. Would avoid doing it during peak hour though

Thanks for that suggestion. After more time looking through Google maps and street views, think I will plan going through St Peters, Enmore, and Annandale. Once arrived the north side of Parramatta Road it comes quite straight forward. Will go via Pyrmont and the city on the way back.

Finally a good weather weekend, rode to Glebe through the most direct route: Carrington Road > Victoria Road > Liberty Street > Kingston Road and so on. Traffic wasn't as bad, and there's enough room to ride in the same lane as parked cars without going into active lanes.
