What does the dotted circle course mean, at Cholet?

And do the different coloured town circles mean anything? Some are solid, some are half-and-half. Or is that just the town colours or something?

The dotted circle and near the end the dotted course mark Individual Time Trials.Green dots mark start towns.Red dots finish towns.Half & Half means that stage will finish in a certain town then also start from that town the next day.

While it was a nice presentation, I had no clue of orientation and so it didn't really tell me much about where the course was going ... except that there were a lot of foreign town names and some rather lumpy bits in the middle (great to see Alp D'Huez in there :D).

I had a good bike ... so I fixed it
