my first c grade placing does not a b grader make! i teried a new strategy of being last for the first 5 laps ( ie bludging at the back) whilst ingnoring the odd few that tried to make a break every once and a while. with about 3 laps to go a pair seemed to have an incereasing 100-200m break, so i thought i better do my bit and drag the bunch up to them. it took a bit but they were shutdown by bell lap and it was on again. this time, i did the opposite and sat back through the s bends at around 10th, ( i would typically get excited, end up 1st or 2nd though here and get swamped in the sprint). found a fast wheel, sat on it and pushed past. for once the penrith finish straight had a tail wind, and my XXL frame was the perfect sail !!bigfriendlyvegan wrote:Get thee up to B grade! Until the re-instatement, the club are not able to conduct or organize any racing or training activities of any sort or advertise any of these until this situation is resolved.
As members you may still race at any other clubs races or open events as you have coverage provided by the CNSW board and your CA licence.

You are only not allowed to race at an open within 8 weeks of the transfer date. You can still play club racing.
I am also told that the paperwork is now submitted and LACC are now awaiting a response from DFT.
cheers
Glenn

Finally some good news. The notice for our reinstatement will appear in the gazette this Friday. If all goes well, the club will be reinstated this Saturday morning.
This is still to be finalised and could change. Please watch the website or Twitter account for any last minute updates.
All LACC training and racing is still suspended until the reinstatement.
