See Through nicks
Postby steveo » Sun Oct 28, 2012 6:58 pm
I currently wear Santini nicks bought from Prendas, yesterday I was told by a person behind me that they are transparent (quite embarrassing). Can anyone suggest a better quality or non transparent brand nicks.
Thank you.

Some also keep their shorts way past their use by date and it is our civic duty to inform the wearer.
Many brands are non see through you just have to try a few and find what is comfortable for you. Sugoi, Castelli, etc are good brands.
CT ran a review of high end shorts recently but you don't need to pay these prices if not doing the big kms, racing or you are on a budget.

Just curious what colour the nicks are?
I have 2 different pairs of santini nicks and neither are see through. Both are black pairs.
Maybe depends on which type or something, maybe cheaper ones use thinner material.
Cheers

Which ones were they on Prendas? Then the rest of us can avoid them.

I have 2 pairs of Santini Greenedge knicks and both are see through in the right light, which is usually direct sunlight. For me the comfort outweighs the see through issue...just did 200+ kms in them yesterday, they were awsome.
Cheers,
Phil.

A bit of black shoe polish will fix the problem.Kenzo wrote:Maybe your butt is too bright and it's shining through?
