Weekend Group Rides Brisbane
Postby benjahughes » Fri Jan 11, 2019 12:21 pm
Hi, I'm looking for some group rides around Brisbane on weekends. I heard Southbank have a few groups? Can anyone tell me where to get info on all the groups going around? Preferably longer base type rides or climbing routes starting early. Thanks.

Lifecycle have Saturday and Sunday shop rides. Saturday 6.00am from the shop at Highgate Hill. 2 or 3 groups (so a choice of speeds). Sunday 6.00am from near the Regatta on Coronation Drive. 1 slower group. Find them on FaceBook.
Cycle Culture have Saturday shop rides. 6.00am from the shop at the Grange. Again, 2 groups and you can find them on FaceBook.
The Sunday 100 (S100) group have rides of about 100km on Sundays - hence the name. They are also on FaceBook.
Those are just the ones that I know, but there are heaps of others.

Many workplaces and BUGs have regular rides.
Knowing your favoured average speed is a must though. Just out of politeness carrying spares and cash is always welcome. ;P
