Looking for dog carrier / basket

Hi all

We are looking for a basket to carry our 3.5kg 4-legged friend.

Any recommendations?
Both my bike and my wife's are equiped with the Beto rear rack (for child seat) if there's an option there. Ideally looking for something without specific brackets so we can easily switch between dog carrier and baby seat.
or a front / handle bar mounted basket?

Basil make some good dog carriers. There is the Pasja wicker basket with quick release (you just undo a thumb screw). They are discontinued now, but available from BikeInn:

The Pasja has been superseded by a plastic basket called the "Buddy" (quite expensive).

And, we use the Basil Cento basket for our dogs; not specifically a dog basket but nice and sturdy & quick release:

All of these baskets are quite big, so maybe a bit of overkill for your little dog. Basil also make smaller baskets for the front. Our dogs are 10kg each!
