Here are a few.
A row of BSOs chained together on a gravel road near Bendigo and a few shots of the roads.

Nice roads. Local gravel looked more like rivers after this week's rain.

Some great places to ride - not too many washboards to be seen.

I'll play - the imaginatively named Collector Road on the way to Canberra

Is special up that way - looks good even some rain in the creeks, really cant recall such a great time to bike during dec - jan as this past few weeks, cool if not cold at night and just no blasting heat waves from the west.
A route would be nice to see

Some pics from my recent trip to NZ. (also posted in Touring Overseas section)

Improvised gravel bike is a Marin Muirwoods tourer - improvised gravel is the Twin Coast Cycle trail located in Northland NZ.

Trail is 89km long - the eastern most section was closed at the time of my visit, I rode a little over half distance at the western end of the trail in three half day rides. Plenty of sun, plenty of wind, got wet twice and dried out just as fast as I got wet.

Best thing I've done on a bike in years............. great to get a change of scenery.

Eppalock is running over the spillway so that's it full, on the O'Keefe rail trail.
