19,600km with 206,047m+.

I did 4 hours ride today. I might do another tomorrow.

I’m almost 700km for the Festive 500 but no chance for the 1000 and I don’t want to wreck myself trying.

Made it in the end. 14,012km/201,107m.

Could potentially do a 60km ride this afternoon to complete the Rapha Festive 500km but given I did 381km/4200m this week entirely on the gravel bike I think I’ll skip that one!

Done and dusted for me
14800km
145,000vm

Distance about average for me, but vertical definitely a bit lower this year.

The last 5 years I have gradually been doing more and more gravel, which probably made up around 20-25% of this years riding, maybe more. I note on my stats, my true road bike only saw 3,5000km this year, the rest on gravel, hybrid or touring bikes. The gravel definitely is harder work, I reckon 70km gravel ride is probably around the same as 100km road ride.

Bring on 2024!

How are you all correlating how much gravel you've done?
My rides all just go to strava and that is where my distance comes from. I upload them as dirt on the map when they are gravel but I can't find any breakdown of what percentage is plastic, gravel or road.

I only have an estimate of gravel.

You can mark an activity on strava as a "gravel ride" rather than a "ride". The problem with that however, is that at least for me, a lot of rides are a mix of sealed and gravel, so not particularly accurate.

I just estimated a percentage based on the kilometres I put on various bikes. So I did 14,800 for the year, and did 7,500 on the 2x bikes I use for gravel, roughly 50% of total. Figured somewhere around half of that was actually gravel, so came up with an estimate of 20-25%. Pretty flawed methodology  It would be nice to know, and compare year to year.

Ah, my gravel bike is over 17k now but I also have road wheels.
It aint much slower than the TCR at the same average power. Both have vector 3 pedals.
Poor old TCR wont be doing much now as the gravelo brakes better with discs and is more comfy.

It would be nice to know but record keeping aint a strong point here.

Ended up doing the Festive 500... wasn't going to, but a big ride the other day got me close, so I thought I may as well.

Congrats all on a good year of riding!
