Batteries for E-bikes

Postby pegphan » Sat Dec 16, 2023 4:12 am

Hello everyone,

I'm new and I'm facing a problem with batteries. I believe the serial number 20180108002 on my Reention battery indicates the date of manufacturing. A 48v, 1000 watt Bafang motor is powered by it.

Could someone please advise me on how to get any additional specifications for this battery? Over time, the sticky label has come off.

I would appreciate any advice.

Unless it’s a major manufacturer’s battery it’ll probably be fairly generic in spec. 48v 10-15ah. Also likely the controller is fairly generic and wil accept any battery of 48v. as long as it can put out 1000/48amps you’ll get full (but somewhat illegal) power.
