Nowhere! Because of the Storm that came over Sydney just in time for my afternoon ride. Have had a lazy week but probably need one after Alpine and the training for it over the past few weeks.

I did use the wasted ride time to put my new Rotundo bars on my R3 though. Mmmm classic bend. Shall test tomorrow with a short post work ride then another epic on Saturday

Home to the top of Mt. Stromlo and back home. I was surprised that it was a 50k round trip, and also the difference that having only 20k's in the legs makes

Sooo glad I forced myself to get up instead of sleeping for another 90 mins 8)

Straight from home to work, then I‘ll ride it to the pub (playing in traffic), then home.

From home to work and now deciding that 35C and 35kmh headwind make the full 42km return trip an challenging experience, so thinking either 13, 16 or 21km ride to train station for me. Then 2km roll down hill and up the next

Nowhere, as it was raining at 4am when I do my quick 14k before work, and a storm when I finished at 4.15pm. :( Guess I will have to do a couple of 40-50k rides on the weekend.

A bit late as the ride in question took place Wednesday morning. A leisurely ~12km ride on road and shared path with approximately 20 others including legends Michael Rogers and Stephen Hodge to help launch the inaugural Amy's Ride Canberra. :D

Into the city for my first courteous mass ride[Hobart] From what I understand the numbers were down a bit and it was quite a short route. But I enjoyed myself, took the hardtail for a spin before and after the ride. There were no bike nazi's just a mix of everything from fixies,mtb's,hybrids,folding.... kids on bike shaped objects and poseurs like me   Anyway, I'll go again

The weather was close to perfect, about 20C and a tailwind both ways....ahhhhh 8) [only 39kms]

cheers
Baldy

It was actually yesterday. Took the long way into work. Rode from Otago (Tas) to Bridgewater then into the city, picking up the bike track at Claremont
(38 km). Weather conditions were perfect (except for the head wind to Bridgewater). There is a new sealed shoulder between Otago and Gage rd Bridgewater which makes riding this stretch a lot better.

I took the regular route home making a total of 53 kms.

Around the block a few times. Was helping a young bloke get his hydraulic brakes sorted out and working properly, including a brake bleed.

Woke up with a cramp in my left leg, from just above the ankle to just below the back of the knee, so only did 26ks yesterday. The soreness was still there this morning, and is deep in the muscle, so only did 5ks on my mountain bike. :x Driving me up the wall, not being able to get rid of the tightness. :(

Duck Holes and Centre Tracks, Terrey Hills. Some good fun downhills with a bit of air over the water bars, and a few tricky loose climbs to keep you on your toes.

Nice and early too, before the heat and humidity this afternoon. :D

60km circuit around Brissie with Mt Cootha thrown in for good measure. Pouring rain on the descent with struggling brakes. Loved every minute of it. :D

Went for a nice easy 30km pootle around Melbourne today. Started in Brunswick, and pretty much followed the Capital City Trail the whole way around: past the Zoo, down through Southbank, along the Yarra, along some of the Boulevard, then jumped onto Johnston St/Elgin st and rejoined Royal parade at Princes Park.
Nice day for it, a tad breezy, but plenty of people out and about. Especially along Southbank it was fairly slow going, due to the number of people, but I didn't mind because I wasn't really concerned about an avg. speed or how far I ended up going (this had nothing to do with the fact that my computer is broken and I can't work out how to fix it  )
Melbourne really is a great city to ride in. :D

Holland Park, up Mt Cootha through St Lucia to Sherwood back to West End then home to Holland Park. 63km circuit with some decent hills.

From Helensvale down the Gold Coast Hwy to Miami and back, 50 km all up.

Great ride, no wind but quite hot and very humid, hit 34 at southport on the way back and then I rode into a freak shower that looked like a wall of water, cooled me down a bit which was good.

I will do it again on Monday before the superbowl, might add 10 or so km to it.
