New coot-tha Kom. Down to 6:05...
Edit: not me. I'm miles away from that. Will never get near it

A lazy 50 seconds off the old KOM. That's outstanding.

It's a bit easier down in C grade. But I'm not racing today, so it doesn't matter...

Power, and time would be more impressive if I was a few kgs lighter.

Anyone know the other people who have done 1000+ climbs? BD is one. Who is the other?

Good effort. I'm only 800+ behind you!

How do you know how many reps other riders have done?

BD has mentioned it somewhere before, can't remember where. otherwise, they would just have to tell you somewhere

I'm not sure if anyone else saw this, but Lucy Kennedy went out over Easter and took a few seconds off her own QOM: https://www.strava.com/activities/3287111363/

10:34 now!

Last night was Lifecycle Cycling Club's annual handicap ride (not a race, nosiree, definitely not a race) up Coot-tha. It is the first one that I have been able to take part in. As usual, about half of the participants set new PRs - including me!

10:17 as of this morning!

After quite a few years off the bike I'm back on and keen to beat my PB from about 7 years ago.. not sure I can do that at age 40?? I'll definitely give it a crack.. I'm looking forward to burning my legs up and my lungs up again

hi Jason,
I remember your posts from quite a few years ago - glad to see you’re still here!
I remember you were doing really well improving your pb back then..
mine was 9:50 or thereabouts.. I’m keen to crack 9:00. I’m not sure if turning 40 will hold me back.. time will tell.

Good work! What’s your pb now?
I’ll be there week after next, once I get my bike back from a service.. I might have a week or two suffering before meeting up for umm, more suffering?
Do you usually hit it early in the morning?
