I only noticed something was up when all the people in the office near me were all standing beside the windows looking out and all the sudden it looked extremely dark.

My afternoons are usually in conference calls one after the other with headphones on so I don't notice anything much outside unless something dramatic happens.

Careful today and tomorrow, going to be 39ºC today out west (37 now as I type this) and 44ºC tomorrow.

Cleaned the roof top solar array at 7am and by the time I finished after 8am it was alreasy too hot to think about riding. Planning for sunrise ride tomorrow and be back before 8am. Will still be warm so plenty of water!

Out at 6:20am for a 2 hour ride. Started out at 23C and finished at 30C. Was very pleasant but took the shady route thru Bobbin Head. It was cool down the bottom but felt the heat as you climbed out.

I went out at 11am for just under two hours. Tried to stick to the Fernleigh Track for some patches of shade.

Garmin is giving me an average temp of 43℃ for my ride. Topped out at 46℃ when I got home and stopped in the driveway.

I did a 3 hour ride and noticed 41C on the garmin with average 32ºC.

Didn't feel too brutal - when I was in France in the mountains 41ºC was a lot worse - the heat was just burning.

I went out early, did a 3.5hr ride, M7 path. Temps were mostly in the 21-24 range, but crept up to 28 the last hour. Actually wasn't too bad at all. Lots more people out really early than normally

My AC had a technical fault as well so after I got home it was extremely unpleasant inside. Technicians came out and seemed to find the problem - checked everything to be sure. Seems to be okay now.

Good they found it quickly! I turned my air-conditioning on after 12 noon when western facing solar PV starts producing power. Just switched off as it is clouding over and a few drops of rain with temperature dropping considerably. Can hear thunder in distance, hopefully get some decent rain.

It was quite a dry heat today so not too uncomfortable but I prefer the cooler morning temps for riding and to avoid the UV.

I got a bit of riding in yesterday when it was not exactly hot but muggy like breathing soup.

Today... nice weather for fishes! Every time I look out the window and it isn't bucketing down I look more closely and it is stlll raining. Yeah It's only water but I'm warm and dry in here and I have no pressing reason to go out and get soaked.

The radar says I should get used to it.

I went for an early Christmas morning ride. No rain, but humid as anything, quite unpleasant

I went at 8am, I thought it was near perfect weather conditions but then I was taking it very easy. Next to no cars which was a bonus.

Yes, I skipped yesterday. Went out early today and it was nice weather. Now rain started and thunder in the distance.

I did 85km this morning and heard thunder around 5km from home. I got back without getting wet.

Very unpredictable and unsettled weather.

And almost right on cue we have a big storm about to hit with very heavy rain.

Wasn't going to let the last two weekends of 2023 go by without a ride, so I pushed out this morning and fortunately the rain held off (mostly - a bit of a sprinkle in the third hour). Quite cool.
