Do they buy 10 pairs of the same bibs to achieve such a perfect tan line?
I don't know bout you guys but my "tan line area" is no where near as defined as that due to the sizing differences between different company bibs.
Thoughts?

My tan lines are pretty sharp because I only wear my team issue kit and all my stuff is exactly the same size. Back when I wore lots of different stuff my tan lines were nowhere near as sharp. So to answer the question, yes they do have multiple sets of the same clothing that they wear all the time.15wilsonwu wrote:Do they buy 10 pairs of the same bibs to achieve such a perfect tan line?

Wouldn't tanner people be less likely to be subjected to sun damage relative to paler people?misterhorsey wrote:can't stand my tan lines. wish I could cycle without tanning.
I'm lucky to have olive skin so I tan easily and while the damage to the skin doesn't show, its definitely there.
I wonder if legs of riders will exhibit the same kind of patchy degeneration as this poor dude, tho maintaining muscle tone probably helps smooth out the wrinkles.

Yes, definitely. Pale friends I have burn very quickly. Whereas I tend to tan pretty easily, and rarely burn.15wilsonwu wrote:Wouldn't tanner people be less likely to be subjected to sun damage relative to paler people?misterhorsey wrote:can't stand my tan lines. wish I could cycle without tanning.

Crikey! 2 thirds of the population will develop skin cancer before the age of 70?!misterhorsey wrote:Yes, definitely. Pale friends I have burn very quickly. But the damage to the skin is still there, while not so apparent:

I guess you just want to be careful. It may well be 'euro', but the combination of harsh Australian conditions with a general population not genetically suited to those conditions can result in unpleasantness.
