After a COVID holiday in 2020 Newcastle Overnight has returned to the calendar on Saturday 20th November for a ninth edition starting at 9pm at Observatory Hill (south end of Sydney Harbour Bridge), a nice 175 km overnight ride to Newcastle with your friends via Gosford and along the coast.
285 riders registered already with a week still to go!
I haven't really done enough kms in the last few months but hope the shear enthusiasm of the crowd will carry me to Newcastle (again) this year.

Having missed this event the last four years (2017/2018 due to injury, 2019 due to being away, and 2020 was cancelled), I have signed on for this one.
It should be a blast. Up until I was injured I had done it three times. This time I am riding up there, then riding home via gravel (Yarramalong Valley, then Buckketty to St Albans). Will be 420km by the time I get home.
This is the video of the ride I made the last time I rode it
