I've been researching bikes and Giant Animator and Byk E350 both come up quite a lot.
The geometry and weight look fairly similar. Prefer the look of the Animator, but the Byk looks like it's got a bit of a cult following despite some cheaper parts.
Anyone have opinions or compared the two in the past?

Looks like the Giant is more upright than the Byk. The longer wheelbase of the Byk does make it very stable, my kids had one and were always very confident on it.
Unless it's a surprise, get your kid to pick the one they think is cooler - that's the one they'll want to ride

Yep. We have a Byk350 and it was fine, save for my kid outgrowing it far too rapidly.
If you're around Brisbane way do you want to buy a cheap Byk350? It's barely used, but it is pink which may be a dealbreaker.
