Sydney Classic Bike Show 2023 - Cancelled
Postby familyguy » Thu Aug 24, 2023 2:44 pm
This has now been announced as happening at Lidcombe Oval on 22 October. Unfortunately the Spring Cycle cancellation has removed the tie-in event, which could have been good, but the event will run standalone for this year. Hoping to get out there this time, I missed the last one for various reasons.

I’ve just heard that Neo Cycling have pulled the plug on the show. I checked their events calendar, and it has disappeared.

If so, that's disappointing.Johnj wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2023 12:30 pmI’ve just heard that Neo Cycling have pulled the plug on the show. I checked their events calendar, and it has disappeared.
Looks like the classic scene in NSW is reverting to us all meeting at a coffee shop and chatting about whatever bikes we turned up on. Maybe not a bad thing...

There’s a few things on Richard. Dieter’s Cyclorama Retro Ride is on Sunday 24/9. Last one was fun, but took in every hill in the Eastern Suburbs. If it’s the same this time I might take a bike with no climbing gears. Then I can roll out with the bunch and double back to the cafe.
The Sydney Thousand will be in November at Tempe. We’ll be putting a few bikes on display, plus there’ll be penny racing on the velodrome.

Nothing posted on SCBS Facebook page as yet. We'll see. What a shame if its not happening again.
