First ride since January 10th this morning. :( I tried for the round number of 20klms but I couldn't ride up the hill any further past home and near fell off the bike at the driveway. :(

That gives me 40.9klms for the year!

Your coccyx I think I read was injured?

I fractured and pushed it sideways and also fractured the left wrist back in February. Then we had to move out and I've just had too much on my plate, which has compounded fatigue levels. Wrist and associated problems are still on going and will possibly need surgery to fix the left arm = 5mm cut out of the main bone running down to the wrist and plate it and possibly on the elbow and wrist area with nerve being pinched or something. Had a conductive scan and it resulted in the nerve not being in a good way which leads to numbness and tingling down my left arm and into the last two fingers.

Have managed to exceed last months figures, but still a long way to go.

At least I'm back riding to work :-)

One of the things I miss about working in my home town now that I don't. The commute, best part of the day. :)
I don't miss the night shift here though. I will never do another.

July - 709km
YTD - 4990km

Not a bad month considering how cold the early mornings have been. Quite a few below zero and most under 5C.
Some beautiful calm and clear winter days and very little rain.
Bang on my required monthly total for an 8.4K year with a (very) few to spare.

Started well in July, 583KMs to 21 July. Had to get picked up from work that day as the dizziness hit and I haven't been able to ride since, not good enough balance.

Oh well, I will persist and once the balance gets better I'll be back on the bike.

A better run this month with 446km and 3,220m of elevation gain.

Weather has been improving a bit which helps so hopefully this is a start to some even better numbers for August !!!

Pretty slack July on my part. 2 weeks skiing, a little bit of a mechanical and N-1 needs some work.

Gotta find some time to get into the saddle.
I really should take up cycling!

Riding stats for July:

Managed 443 km and 2426 metres elevation, bringing YTD totals to 5123 km and 30889 metres respectively
Bit of a slow month for me as I succumbed to a viral infection which kept me off the bike for 2 weeks.

Have done 4128kms for the year, elevation gain 64905 m.
Will hopefully get to 8000kms by the end of the year, that's my goal.

Riding stats for August:

Managed 529 km and 3136 metres elevation, bringing YTD totals to 5652 km and 34025 metres respectively
Another slow month for me but still slightly ahead of schedule and looking at a better few months ahead.

August for me was 306km, which takes me to 2444km YTD, and 219km behind pace for my target of 4000km. I'm acting in another job at the moment where I need to wear a suit some days and also visit other sites, so on those days I have to drive unfortunately.

556km for August.
5547km YTD.
I should be sitting on 5615km at this time to be on target for an 8.4K year.
Going backwards at the moment but not too late to catch up.
Only 120 days left to the end of the year so I need to average 23.21km/day. Not much but I could do with a little motivation boost.
Bright and clear Saturday morning here but it's only 2 degC. Another cup of tea might help. :D

Last month a big step in the right direction.

640km but only 3,180m elevation gain. Slowly getting g back into the climbs and kicked off Sep with a 70km ride

Spring is here !!!

Poor August riding but I've cracked 2600km YTD.

Longer days and a little more motivation I'll hopefully get 100km/wk going forward.

Might have to start going to the office to click up some saddle time.
I really should take up cycling!

YTD 5036kms, 77,990M elevation gain.
I do most of my rides in the Dandenongs atm, so getting plenty of climbing in.

I'm revising my target to 8000km, down from 8.4K (700/month).
Which means with 6115km so far I am a little bit ahead.
569km for September. Not bad, but not brilliant.
I realise now that my lower mileage is mostly due to refusing to ride the indoor trainer ever again. :D
We've had some especially good cycling weather this year, offset by some bloody awful days too. :D
I only have to average 20.5km a day from now to year's end. Easy, but need to keep motivated. Things go backwards very quick if I let them.

Given it was a month with 10 days away, a total of 464km and 4,294m elevation gain, I’m pretty happy.

Starting to get the climbing in now, so looking fwd to a good October !!

A sub par 262kms for September - I'm 296kms behind pace for my 4000km annual target but should have my previous annual best (3200kms) easily covered.

Although I strained an oblique at cricket practice yesterday so I may lose a week or two.
