you can ride on nearly flat tyres : ) left work this afternoon and discovered my left front wheel a little light on for air... decided to wing it and see how far i got. with stops for traffic it's about a forty five minute ride. made it home still rideable with under 20psi in the tyre when i got there. the ride on the left was plush if a little slow : )

fourth puncture this week durn it......

so what happens when your rear tyre is flat?

rear can get down to just over 20psi before it's unrideable i.e. running on the rim.... that left hand front tube now has 16 patches, looking like it has some kind of disease : )

I got away with 12psi in my MTB wheels last week while riding on the road. Didn't notice a difference until I tried to do a few curb jumps - the landings were a bit squishy .... ;)
