Cyclists stop for thirsty koala

Cyclists are indeed a friendly bunch, and when it comes to one of our national icons – yes, Cyclists stop for thirsty Koalas. This thirsty Koala was spotted on Tuesday night (3rd Feb) at 8pm on the old Mt Barker Rd heading up to Mt Lofty.

The photos are ‘doing the rounds’ via email in the cycling community. Dan S. who who stumbled across this unusual scene mentioned "The little fella drank 2 full bottles and would approach anyone and try to grip their leg to get them to give the little fella a drink!".

Pictured is Tim Noonan, an the ABC reporter from Adelaide. Adam Spencer also has a blog post about it here: blogs.abc.net.au
