Tadej Valjavec Giro Diaries – Stage 3

I was well in this 3rd stage even if my sensations were better yesterday. Fortunately, I find a good physical condition on the last ascent before finish line, so I succeed in following leaders.

Tomorrow, it’s the first stage with a finish on climb and I think that Danilo Di Luca would take hold of "Maglia Rosa" because he has to take time to Ivan Basso who is better than him on individual Time trial. On my part, It will be difficult to win but I will try to keep up with the best, keep up all my chances for general classification and in the same time keep some strength to aim at some stages. Once more it will be a difficult stage but Giro d’Italia is like this: a hilly route, difficult ascents, days marked by many attacks, ride hard and tortuous roads, sometimes dangerous!
