Team Diary: Milram on Stage 4 the Giro

Milrams Thomas Rohregger finished the mountain top 162 km from Padua to San Martino di Castrozza stage in 28th posistion.

The Milram rider crossed the finish line in a large leading group, and moved up to 15th place overall. The stage win went to Italian Danilo Di Luca of Team LPR-Brakes. He beat his two countrymen Stefano Garzelli (Acqua &Sapone) and Franco Pellizotti (Liquigas). In the overall ranking, Swede Thomas L?vkvist of Team Columbia-Highroad took over the leader’s pink jersey. Milram climber Thomas Rohregger is now 1:02 back.

"We rode really well today and thanks to Thomas Rohregger, brought in some good results," said Vittorio Algeri, Team Milram Directeur Sportif, after the fourth stage. "Tomorrow it will be equally challengning, so it was good for our team to see that we can hold our own on a difficult stage. That gives us more self-confidence. I am satisfied with our day."
