Milrams’s Thomas Rohregger showed his good form in the fifth stage of this year’s Giro d’Italia and held on to his Top 20 ranking.
The Austrian climbed to a 27th place finish on the challenging mountain stage up to the Seiser Alm in South Tyrol and now is 18th overall, just before the Giro goes into his Tyrolean homeland.
"Thomas Rohregger gave a super performance. He lived up to his own expectations and what we we expected of him in the moutains," said Ralf Grabsch, who together with Vittorio Algeri is serving as Team Milram Directeur Sportif in Italy. "Now Tommy will probably be even more motivated on the ride into his homeland."
