Tour de France race organizer Christian Prudhomme agrees with the UCI’s Pat McQuaid that Boonen’s image has "damaged the sport" and he will base his decision for Boonen’s inclusion on the outcome of the rider’s hearing with the UCI Disciplinary Committee.
So we may just yet see Boonen racing this July. The date for the hearing has not yet been set and therefore if the hearing is not before the July 4th start of the Tour then Boonen maybe eligible to race.
