Farrar Feeling Good with Wins

Team Garmin-Slipstream’s Tyler Farrar is on top at the Eneco Tour in Belgium, after taking out the first stage field sprint in impressive fashion.

“What can I say, it feels great to win some races after so many close calls!” said Farrar. “I came out of the Tour de France feeling strong and now I’m trying to make the most of it while I have the good form. The team has been behind me 100% and they are doing a fantastic job setting me up for these victories. Hopefully there will be more to come!”

One of the frequent questions is about the new tattoo on his arm and why he is covering it up at the race. No, it’s not anything dirty?

“About the tat; its a mantra that says ‘May all be happy.’ It’s written in Pali, an Indian language. I’ve just been covering it up because I just got it last week and you’re supposed to keep it out of the sun until it fully heals”
