In Perth a community cycling event, “Ride for Change” is organised as a fun festival style event that aims to attract cyclists of all speeds, ages and ability to ride together and end by joining the “Walk Against Warming” event pushing for action on climate issues.
The cyclists meet at PICA (Perth Cultural Centre, James St, Northbridge) at 10am. The ride is loosely tied together with Critical Mass though as a special event, participating cyclists are encouraged to abide by all road laws.
The ride ends at the Park near Russell Square and there will be live bands, speakers, stally and food. More information online http://rideforchange.wordpress.com
