Cadel takes a muddy Giro 7th stage win

In wet and muddy conditions, Cadel Evans took a breakaway group and sprint victory ahead of Cunego and Vinokourov on the 7th stage of the Giro d’Italia 2010. Vinokourov takes back the Pink leaders jersey while Evans moves back up to second overall, 1min 12sec behind, and also second in the points table behind Tyler Farrar and before Graeme Brown.

Richie Porte has managed to stay among the current top GC contenders at 10th position and has once again secured the white jersey.
