Ride to Cure Diabetes in January 2012

Just before the Tour Down Under kicks off, the Ride to Cure Diabetes gives cyclist a chance to enjoy a great weekend while supporting the cause. The event welcomes individuals and teams in the Barossa Valley on the 13th to 15th January 2012.

Courses of 35km, 80km, and 160km are available and take riders through the most spectacular scenary in the Barossa Valley. The registration fee is $200 and each rider (depending on their selected package) will have a fundraising goal starting at $1000. The event takes place immediately before the Tour Down Under so is an excellent lead-up event.

The ride is an initiative of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and will raise funds for research into a cure of Type 1 Diabetes.
