1000km Ride for Palliative Care

Carl F. will lead a group of four from Phillip Island to Wollongong raising money Port Kembla Palliative Unit. He made a promise to his father in law who died of cancer that he would organise a ride and with this ride he is raising money that will go to the Port Kembla Palliative Unit. This is a healthcare unit that relieves pain and suffering of it’s patients in care.

Using the Everyday Hero service, donations can be made which go to the Palliative Unit via the Illawarra Cancer Carers.

The four riders begin on October 20 with a lap of the Phillip Island Grand Prix track and with two support cars follow the coast up to Wollongong.

You can follow the progress on: the1000kmride blog and make a donation via Everyday Hero.
