3T have unveiled two new aero bars complying with the UCI rules the Limited Edition and Team edition.
The base unit combines the variable-radius, medium-drop bends of ERGOSUM with the aero wing of MISTRAL. Additionally, it has the unique Pi Wing’, an adjustable forward extension with an aerofoil handrest.
The rider’s forearms rest on broad silicon pads on the basebar’s upper surface, while the hands and wrists fall into a natural, ergonomic position on the handrest.
This innovative new bar meets all current and anticipated rules on aero form in both ProTour and ITU codes and is currently being trialed by pro teams. It should also bring performance and comfort benefits to amateur century and sportive riders and triathlon contestants.
