Strictly limited to 65 riders, this fully supported 500km tour starts at Cardwell on September 17 with a 500km route through the wilderness and rainforests of Far North Queensland to Cairns arrive on September 24. The route is mostly dirt roads and suits Mountainbikers and (fat tyre) tourers and will take riders past waterfalls, through gorges, rainforest, open forest, World Heritage areas and hard to access country.
The $1,040 fee includes a $400 (tax deductable) fundraising component. The funds raised go to CAFNEC (Cairns and Far North Environment Centre).
