Sydney Tweed Ride on Sunday July 31, 2011

The London tweed rides are classic and tickets are hard to come by. As a Commonwealth Nation, etiquette virtually dictates that the tweed ride tradition is maintained in Australia. An Aussie interpretation goes without saying.

New South Welschmen and women are invited to wear their best tweed, mount their two wheeled stead and join the Sydney Tweed Ride on Sunday July 31. Registration begins at 8am and the ride commences at 9am (entry is free). Departure from the Sydney Town Hall.

The ride is being hosted by MC Cyclery and more information is available online: mccyclery.com.au/tweedride/ (They also recommend The Tweed Outfitter if you need a new wardrobe).
