Cargo Bike Picnic in Melbourne on November 21

The ever increasing interest in Cargo Bikes has drawn together seven cargo bike suppliers in Australia who are organising a Cargo Bike Picnic in Melbourne on November 21.

A number of specialist suppliers have sprung up in the last few years to introduce the Dutch and Danish style cargo bikes to Australia as the country becomes more cycle-friendly and environmentally aware. The picnic is an initiative to bring together the suppliers, owners and people curious or interested in cargo bikes. The cargo bikes are promoted as a means to reduce your carbon footprint and dependency on your car.

The fun, free and family picnic is an opportunity to test ride some of the bicycles and simply have a good time. It is BYO and you should bring a helmet.
